The music of The Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra was played near The Eiffel Tower (Paris, France).

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Eremin met with representatives of The Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra, who have recently returned from Paris tour.

Three performances of our renowned collective were held in the European capital of art. Concerts of  Krasnoyarsk musicians took place at two venues. The first was in The Madeleine Church - the part of the architectural ensemble of the central square of Paris - The Place de la Concorde. The second concert venue  was in the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Center located a few hundred meters from The Eiffel Tower. A special program included  works of Russian and Western European composers  was prepared for each of three concerts. Soloists were both, our and  French musicians. Also, founder, artistic director, chief conductor of the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra, the honored artiste of Russia, professor Mikhail  Benyumov held a master class for teachers and young violinists, presented a report at a pedagogical conference, where he told about the traditions of the performance of Russian classic music.

The musicians shared that their performance coincided with two important events for France: a national holiday - Bastille Day and 2018 FIFA World Cup Final mach. The orchestra staff was worried that the Parisians, who are active fans, would prefer the sport to classical music. It turned out, that they lived in vain.

"Our concert began two hours before the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final match  and yet - a full house! The reception provided by the French side was at the highest level. Paris is the world cultural center, top-class orchestras come here. It was extremely exciting, as for energy and the emotions – it's  an inexpressible feeling. We are grateful to the French listener", -  Meritorious artist of Russia, soloist of  Orchestra Larisa Markosyan shares.

During the meeting, Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Eremin discussed with musicians requests of the world community in the cultural environment, including formats of concerts, which  are most interesting to the sophisticated listener today.

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  noted: "Talent is the oil of the 21st century. Therefore, your orchestra is the wealth of Krasnoyarsk. You demonstrate a real metropolitan level in the world cultural space and declare about unique Krasnoyarsk on the whole planet. I believe, that the promotion of our teams should  be continued  using all modern methods. Therefore, I propose to create your own fan club in social networks and  I will be one of the first to take part in it". Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  fulfilled his promise and became the first subscriber of The Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra account in Instagram.
