​On October, 26, a solemn inauguration ceremony of elected Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  Eremin Sergey Vasiliyevich was held in city administration. Representatives of Government of  Krasnoyarsk region, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk region, deputies of the City Council of deputies, honorable  citizens, Heads of departments and  administration divisions took part in the event.

In accordance with the Charter of the city of Krasnoyarsk, the elected Mayor of Krasnoyarsk accepted the oath: «Taking office of the Mayor of  Krasnoyarsk, in the face of all its residents, I swear to honour the Constitution, laws of Russian Federation and  Krasnoyarsk region, the Charter of  city of Krasnoyarsk, to respect and protect  rights and freedoms of  person and citizen, to protect  interests of  city's residents and faithfully serve as the Mayor of Krasnoyarsk assigned to me».

After that, honorable c citizen Samkov Anatoliy Petrovich  and chairmen of City Council of deputies Kazanova Tatyana Ivanovna  handled to Eremin Sergey Vasiliyevich attributes of the power of Head of the city: the heraldic suspension, the sign "The Star of Mayor" and the symbolic key from Krasnoyarsk.

After the inauguration ceremony Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergey Eremin addresed to citizens: « I thank everyone for the trust I received and I realize the level of responsibility. Krasnoyarsk faces grandiose tasks. Less than 500 days before the start of the 29th Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk and it will become our first management test when we will meet guests from all over the world. After that, we will face with one more epochal date - to the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. It will be the second serious date to which we have to prepare in order to make our city  recognizable not only on the map of our country, but also on the world landscape. I will make efforts to justify the advance of trust given to me».
