​Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Edkham Akbulatov met with official delegation of «Kang Dong» Hospital from Republic of Korea.

«Kang Dong» Hospital is one of the  the largest orthopedic center in Busan (Republic of Korea). Hospital  includes 6 different directions: arthroplasty, pediatric orthopedics, endoscopy of joints, sports medicine and others. More than 4 thousands difficult surgical operations are done every year. Special place is occupied by operations of implantation of artificial joints, which are conducted in a Hospital with using of the most innovative techniques. Hospital actively accepts foreign patients.

Addressing to Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Edkham Akbulatov, Deputy Director of Hospital «Kang Dong» Mr. Kang Seok Kyung noted that Krasnoyarsk has become the first city in Siberia with which close cooperation is establishing: «First of all, I am vey glad to be in your wonderfull city. We are very interested in the experiance of Krasnoyarsk collegues. Today we saw the high level of work of  Federal Siberian Research Clinical Centre under the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia . We plan bilateral training of our specialists, distance consultations and joint medical research  in near future».

Agreement on cooperation  was signed between «Kang Dong» Hospital and Federal Siberian Research Clinical Centre under the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia during the meeting. The realization of  the first exchange of professional knowledge in the field of orthopedics will begin next month.

Director for Investment Projects of Federal Siberian Research Clinical Centre under the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia Liudmila Yakovleva said: «We visited three Korean Hospitals, where we got acquainted with technologies which are not using here. Now we plan to send our specialists from surgery for studies . We also plan to conduct an internship in teaching methods of traditional medicine. More over, the international conference dedicated to organs transplantation will be held in Krasnoyarsk on October and we invited our Korean colleagues for participating».

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Edkham Akbulatov noted that development of cooperation with Korean doctors will allow to implement the unique experience of leading Asian Hospitals: «Surely, the development of modern medical technologies is vey important for increasing the quality of medical service. I hope, that that mutual professional exchange will have a practical result for both sides and, of course, will be an additional push to strengthening the friendship between Korea and Krasnoyarsk. Cooperation in the sphere of medicine is a new level of our partnership».
