«Totem» football club  is a silver medalist of the World Championship.

Final stage of the Football World Championship among children's teams and boarding schools were held in Warsaw (Poland). «Totem» football club   presented Russia. Pupils of orphanage №1 and children's home named in honor of Khazret Sovmen played in main team.

«Totem» football club  won Palestine, Germany, Lithuania, Croatia and Slovenia after first day of the  Championship. Russia came out on top of its group after 5 victories. Games  of 1/8 of final began with a match between Holland and Serbia. Then, there  was an uncompromising victory of Poland over the team of France with the result 4-0, Spain won Latvia and Russia with difficulties, but still won Hungary.

The most intensive matches for the teams were in the 1/4 of the final. Four football powers: Holland, Spain, Russia and Poland fought for an exit in the final under the scorching sun.

Russia, represented by the «Totem» football club  played against the Polish national team - a very dangerous opponent  who enjoyed the unconditional support of the tribunes. Rirgt from the start «Totem» football club could  impose its  game, creating a few dangerous moments near the gate of Poland. By the middle of the match our guys scored a goal, completely controlling  the situation on the field. Poland, obviously not expecting such pressure, began to make mistakes, and as a result Russians scored one more ball in their gate.

This victory of  Russians led them to the final, where they played with the strongest opponent of the tournament - the Spanish national team.

Spanish team won and «Totem» football club  won silver medals in the final of the World Championship.
