​​​​​​​Children from Krasnoyarsk became the prize-winners of the 47th International Exhibition-Contest of Children's Art in Japan

 ​

At the end of October last year, about forty children from Krasnoyarsk took part in the 47th International Exhibition-Contest of Children's Art. This contest of children's drawings is one of the largest in Japan, has a high international status and has been held since 1970.

 

The competition was organized by the Japan Art Education Fund Biiku Bunka Kyokai, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, the National newspaper of Japan Yomiuri Shimbun, the Japanese Federation of Art Design, the Association of Japanese Art Education, as well as PENTEL CO ., LTD - manufacturer of artistic materials and stationery.

 

95 000 children from 43 countries took part in the contest. Out of 1006 works of young Russian artists, 131 works were awarded with international awards.

 

The awards received by the Russian children were distributed as follows:

 

• The highest award - the Award of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan - 0 works;

• Supreme Gold Award - 5 works;

• Gold Award - 19 works;

• Silver Award - 30 works;

• Bronze Award - 40 works;

• PENTEL's special award - 37 works.

 

Our young Krasnoyarsk artists were among the prize-winners!

 

A Gold Award was awarded to:

Teacher - Kazmir Irina Viktorovna


A Special Award of Pentel was awarded to:

Skurikhina Victoria, 9 years old. The work "In the city in the morning", MBOU School № 6,

​The awards will be given to the winners at the end of May by one of the organizers of the contest.
