​Mayor of  Krasnoyarsk  Edkham  Akbulatov and Krasnoyarsk delegation  met with enterprisers in  Almaty.

Meeting lasted more than an hour. Meeting attendees discussed the economic condition of Kazakhstan and Krasnoyarsk region. They also presented  investment projects to each other.

Kazakhstan is open for cooperation and ready to share experience as well as our region. Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region - Head of Governor Administration of the Krasnoyarsk region noted  the high level of organization of the Universiade-2017 in Kazakhstan.

First Deputy of Krasnoyarsk region Governor - Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk region Viktor Tomenko told about the economic potential of Krasnoyarsk.

«Almaty and Krasnoyarsk region are kind off rivals. They are trying to attract new trends and industries, which just began to develop. However, in spite of the struggle for the capital, there are many areas where we could work together», said Viktor Tomenko.

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  Edkham  Akbulatov told about  investment projects of Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk region in more detailed way. Particularly, Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  Edkham  Akbulatov told about the «Aluminum Valley» project, which  should be realized in special economic zones according to the Russian legislation.

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  Edkham  Akbulatov said that «Aluminum Valley» project gives more preferences to business. ««Aluminum Valley» project will be presented in  a more detailed way during the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum. We have 16 investment projects today, including navigation equipment, satellite technologies and other areas, including high-technical processes», said Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  Edkham  Akbulatov.

Speaking about engineering, Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  Edkham  Akbulatov noted a new trend in this industry - oilfield engineering.

Speaking about the purpose of the visit, Mayor of Krasnoyarsk  Edkham  Akbulatov said: «I'm very interested in what development was received by city during the organizing the Universiade-2017. A huge program of city transformation was carried out in Almaty. It includes not only the creation of sports facilities, but also the urban environment improvement projects, construction of new residential areas. It's important to me to get acquainted with the experience of how sport objects were built, how conditions for attracting business for realizing this projects were created. Surely, the practice of the preparing the sport events and its availability to guests and residents. The most important thing is perspective: how the heritage of the Universiade will be used  for the city development in future. As far as I know, new sport constructions will become the   recreational spaces for residents, guests, and it's very important. For us, Krasnoyarsk people, foreseeing the effective usage of the world sport event heritage is very significant».

We remind you, that FISU flag will be  transferred  from the organizing committee of the XXVIII World Winter Student Games to representatives of the capital of the XXIX Winter Universiade – Krasnoyarsk, today, during the  closing ceremony of the Universiade-2017.

Summing up the meeting, participants said, that this event is only a start of the effective cooperation.
