​Russian athletes won 4 medals in The XXVIII International tournament in freestyle men and women's wrestling series Golden Grand Prix "Ivan Yarygin".

Russian athletes won 4 medals, 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals  in The XXVIII International tournament in freestyle men and women's wrestling series Golden Grand Prix "Ivan Yarygin".

32 Russian athletes presented Krasnoyarsk region in tournament.  Athlete Alena Starodubceva won  silver medal in 75 kg  category and Julia Proncevic  also won  silver medal in 60 kg  category. Yuriy Belonovskiy  won bronze medal in 97 kg  category. Yisrail Kasumov won gold medal in 70 kg  category.

209 Sportsmen and 138 sportswomen from 15 countries met in The XXVIII International tournament in freestyle men and women's wrestling series Golden Grand Prix "Ivan Yarygin" , 27th - 29th of January, 2017. Athletes from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria,  Italy, Romania, Belarus, China, USA, Germany, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan took part in  the tournament.

Russian national team become the winner in the men team classification (25 medals). Among the athletes from other countries: team  from Iran has 4 medals, the representatives of  USA, Mongolia, Japan – one medal each.

Russian national team become the winner in the women team classification (10 medals).  Among the athletes from other countries: team from Mongolia has 9 medals, Japan – 6 medals, USA – 3 medals, Bulgaria -  2 medals, the representatives of   Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan  – one medal each.
