​Despite the increasingly cold weather, the city is celebrating this Butter Week outdoors. Various playground activities and interactive concert programmes are organised for the guests of the holiday.

Children and adults alike enthusiastically participate in various entertainment locations. The youngest guests of Maslenitsa celebrations enjoy activities with costumed actors, whereas the older ones compete in tug of war, jumping rope, and archery.

Kids from preschool daycare centres contributed to the celebrations, making Maslenitsa straw puppets for an exhibition on one of the Yenisei river embankments. The festive atmosphere is also constantly maintained by musicians and dancers performing on improvised stages.
