The project is dedicated to the anniversary of the opera singer, who would have turned 60 on October 16, 2022.

The exhibition of TASS photographs dedicated to the memory of the People's Artist of Russia Dmitri Hvorostovsky opened at Krasnoyarsk International Airport. The venue was not chosen by chance: the air harbor, after all, is named after the singer. The exhibition, which will be available to passengers in the domestic departure area, includes 15 photographs that reflect three decades of the artist's career.

The photographs of the agency's press photographers capture the creative steps of Dmitri Hvorostovsky at the start of his career in his homeland Krasnoyarsk, as well as performances by the famous baritone at the largest concert venues in Russia, including the Bolshoi Theatre, the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the State Kremlin Palace and Moscow International House of Music. Visitors of the airport will see Hvorostovsky during an interview for the film "A Star from Siberia" in the early 1990s, at the studio recording of the album, at rehearsals with a vocal teacher on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre and at a performance with world stage stars Sumi Cho and Lara Fabian, as well as with the first persons of the country during the ceremony of presenting state awards.

Among the authors of the presented works are TASS photojournalists Vladimir Medvedev, Mikhail Metzel, Anton Novoderezhkin, Vyacheslav Prokofiev.

The exhibition was organized as part of the partnership between TASS and the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Art Development Fund. The fund was founded in 2019 at the initiative of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Alexander Uss; among its founders are the artist's parents. The Foundation was created with the aim of developing the cultural leadership of Krasnoyarsk through the legacy of Dmitri Hvorostovsky by uniting the creative forces of the region, educating new talents, organizing international events and increasing involvement in the culture and history of the region.
