This year's Krasnoyarsk Book Culture Fair will be held online. “The epidemiological situation is still unstable, so it was decided to exclude the risks of infection for Krasnoyarsk residents,” - explained the officials in the Prokhorov Foundation.

The theme of the fair is "New Ethics". It has become a most relevant one because in some areas what was considered ethical in the past is becoming unethical today. The growing spontaneous trend towards humanization, social and physical mobility questioned some elements of the social contract that previously seemed unshakeable.

"What is the 'new sensibility' and where is the limit of 'insult to the feelings'? Why do we treat those feelings with such respect in some cases, while in others consider those claims pure manipulations? What are 'equal rights' today and what have they been throughout the history? Ethics in the new reality will be discussed by cultural scientists, historians, sociologists, artists, and musicians," - elaborated the organizers on the topic of the upcoming book fair.

It was promised that the fair would return to its standard "offline" format in 2021.
