This week local contracting organisations finally began landscaping work in parks and squares of Krasnoyarsk. The process of improving environment is, at last, in full swing. 

In the Sverdlovsk district, for example, an entire park complex, which will consist of three public spaces, is currently under creation. The spaces are to be: the Circus square, a children's zone where kids of all ages can find something to do, the Panikovka square, a walking zone, and a public space in the area of ul. Koroleva, 10a as a place for a relaxing holiday. The works will be completed approximately before the end of the season.

According to the project, various walkways, lamps, flower beds, lawns, benches, swings complexes, gazebos, amphitheatres, and a variety of dog parks are to be installed in the squares.

The urban beautification projects in Krasnoyarsk have been actively implemented since 2017. Then, a large-scale improvement of the left bank of the Yenisei River was carried out in the city. In 2018, the work continued. Krasnoyarsk residents chose 11 city squares for improvement, which by the end of the year turned into locals’ favorite places for walking and recreation for residents of the microdistricts. In 2019, 13 squares and the first section of the right-bank embankment of the Yenisei from ul. Matrosova to the street Gladkova were permanently improved.
