The concert will be attended by such oustanding winners of International and All-Russian competitions like Elena Stromilo, Alexander Mikhalev, Roman Khobta, Svetlana Mikhaleva, Victoria Goikhman, Olga Shved, Veronika Kusakhina and others. In addition to the compositions published in the collection, the new vocal music by Krasnoyarsk authors will also be performed at the presentation event.

One of the main difficulties was to choose the best vocal compositions for inclusion in said vinyl, the need for which was long overdue.

«Vocal compositions – romances and ballads alike – are somethings all composers living in our region, regardless of their genre priorities, possess in their portfolio. Many of them created such pearls of vocal music that people all throughout Siberia sing them to this day. Among these authors, first of all, is the oldest Krasnoyarsk composer Fedor Veselkov, whose centenary was celebrated last year,» – notes Vladimir Ponomarev, composer, member of the Russian Union of Composers.

It is also noteworthy that in addition to the works of Veselkov, the collection also contains the vocal music of other remarkable composers of Siberia, such as Eduard Markaich and Vladimir Primakh.
