The President of Congress of Russian Americans was awarded a grateful letter of  Mayor of Krasnoyarsk.

The VI Election Forum of Russian Compatriots in the United States completed in Washington ,D. C.,(https://washington.mid.ru//en/). About  200 people participated in events of the forum, among them were  Heads of organizations of Russian Compatriots in the United States, representatives of youth organizations, students, teachers of Russian schools and universities, Russian diplomats and representatives of the media.

During the forum, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia in the United States Anatoly Antonov presented the grateful letters of Mayor of Krasnoyarsk for great personal contribution in the preparation and holding of the jubilee events, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Krasnoyarsk Air Route «Alaska-Siberia», legendary «ALSIB». Director of Russian Cultural Center in Alaska Anna Vernaya and President of the Congress of Russian Americans Natalia Sabelnik were humbled to receive grateful letters of Mayor of Krasnoyarsk.

"The Embassy is opened to interaction and will support all those who are interested in preservation the spiritual and cultural ties with the historical homeland and  development of friendly relations between Russia and the United States. Meanwhile, I would like to express my gratitude to Natalia Sabelnik, "Anatoly Antonov said. - I would like to note once again the necessity  to involve more actively youth representatives in the life of the diaspora, because they should take the responsibility of consolidating the Russian world after us. We highly appreciate your desire to be together with the historical motherland and your help in its development. From the side of the Embassy we will support the work of compatriots' organizations, as well as support our fellow citizens in protecting their interests".

 Russian Ambassador in the United States Anatoly Antonov also noted that Russians, who  live in the United States,  help reanimate the relationships between our two countries.

Grateful letters of Mayor of Krasnoyarsk for great personal contribution in the preparation and holding of the jubilee events, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Krasnoyarsk Air Route «Alaska-Siberia» were also handed to President & Chairman of BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation Jeff Geer and Director of BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation Craig Lang (http://bravo369.net). In 2015, they made a historical flight along the Alaska-Siberia route on airplanes of the time of the World War II. They plan to repeat their action in 2020 and dedicate it to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Let us note, that the book written by two aviation engineers and «ALSIB» researchers Vyacheslav Filippov and Ivan Negenblya, «Alaska-Siberia.  Cooperation in the name of Victory. 75-th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk air route"  was sent to Ambassador of Russia. According to the archival data, this book tells the history of aviation in the north-east of our homeland.
