The very first All-Russian Street Art Award will mark the conclusion of the "Rassvety" (Daybreaks) Street Art Festival, which has been taking place in Krasnoyarsk since July. The Festival initiative received the backing of Mayor Sergey Vereshchagin. The idea is that transforming the city's streetscape will serve as part of the regional capital's preparations for its 400th anniversary.

The award aims to recognize individual artists and collectives working in the fields of street art and graffiti. Its objectives include gaining professional recognition for projects, supporting legal street art, and fostering a positive image of street art as a tool for preventing vandalism among young people.

Eligibility for the All-Russian Street Art Award extends to young Russian citizens aged 18 to 35, as well as creative collectives where at least half of the members are under the age of 35. Each participant may submit up to three entries across different categories.

The award features five categories: Mural of the Year, "Breaking the Plane", "Locality Mastermind", Discovery of the Year, Best Festival Project.

The "Rassvety" Street Art Festival is taking place in Krasnoyarsk for the first time. The event has resulted in the creation of eight large-scale artworks on building facades and retaining walls, and has featured an educational programme, a didecated day of activities at the local "Art-Bereg" venue, and an open-air painting session with a member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
