The 11th Open Festival-Competition of Snow and Ice Sculptures "Magic Ice of Siberia" will take place in Krasnoyarsk from January 4 to 10, 2027. This year, participants will create snow and ice sculptures based on the theme "Ice Map of the World."

Applications from professional Russian and foreign sculptors are being accepted until November 2. The selection committee will choose 10 best sketches for snow sculptures and 10 for ice sculptures.

Applications are also being accepted from young sculptors—university and college students– not only in the Krasnoyarsk Region but also in other Russian cities and abroad. The committee will select 10 teams that submit the most interesting preliminary designs.

Project proposals from Krasnoyarsk families are being accepted until December 7; children's participation in this category is mandatory. A total of 12 teams will be selected. Areas that have become part of Krasnoyarsk agglomeration are eligible to join the event. The family competition will take place, as is tradition, on January 7.

Alongside professionals, child sculptors will have the opportunity to showcase their ice creations. The organisers are accepting project submissions from young students of art schools aged 10 to 16 until December 7.

Those interested in participation can submit their applications using the form on the website. Competition Regulations can be found on the same page.
