The 6th International Olympiad on Financial Security has concluded in Krasnoyarsk. The competition took place from September 27 to October 2, with 700 high school and university students from 45 countries participating.

The winners were presented with awards by distinguished guests, including Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Chernyshenko, the head of Rosfinmonitoring Yuri Chikhanchin, and heads of financial intelligence units and specialised organisations from various countries.

Dmitri Chernyshenko welcomed the finalists and thanked Yuri Chikhanchin, Mikhail Kotyukov, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as the volunteers for the successful execution of the intellectual competition.

— You have demonstrated incredible results. This entire movement is flourishing thanks to the initiative of our President, Vladimir Putin, who launched it six years ago. It has already brought together six million participants. You are representatives of this vast team of like-minded individuals united by shared values. The Head of our country emphasises that this Olympiad unlocks the creative potential and talent of the younger generation. I sincerely wish you success and hope you take away not only knowledge and new friendships but also the confidence that you are on the right path. The Olympiad is drawing to a close, but this is not a final farewell; we will certainly meet again and continue our collaboration on the "Sodruzhestvo" platform.

Awards were presented in six categories: Financial Security, International Relations, Law, Economics, and Information Security, as well as in a special category, "The Will to Win."

The Krasnoyarsk Region Governor Mikhail Kotyukov presented awards to the winners in the "Economics" category among students:

— Thanks to the support of the organisers, we have managed to take our efforts regarding financial literacy and security in the region to a whole new level. Students who used to participate in the Olympiad are now conducting classes themselves in Krasnoyarsk schools. The Financial Literact Week we organised for local residents was met with a great response. We are parting ways with this Olympiad with a touch of sadness, but we are already beginning to prepare Krasnoyarsk students for the finale of the seventh International Olympiad, which will take place a year from now.
