An outdoor exhibition marking the centenary of Andrey Pozdeev's birthday has opened in F.E. Dzerzhinsky Square. Titled "The Master's Magical World," the exhibition features 50 of the artist's works provided by the V.I. Surikov Krasnoyarsk Art Museum, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, and the Andrey Pozdeev Foundation.

Valeria Guryanova, head of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Andrey Pozdeev Public Foundation, noted that the work of our renowned fellow countryman is multifaceted:

— Two wonderful exhibitions are currently on display at the Surikov Museum, showcasing the full diversity of Pozdeev's portfolio. He explored a vast array of themes, techniques, and moods. I am, predictably, very familiar with Andrey Pozdeev and his art; yesterday, while passing by the outdoor exhibition that had just opened, I felt that his work has the power to turn a gloomy day into a sunny one. It has become a true "Pozdeev-style" little town. This is all the more valuable given that there is no permanent exhibition dedicated to this artist.

The exhibition was initiated by the Agency for Press and Mass Communications, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region.
