24.09.2026The II Viktor Tretyakov International Violin Music Festival kicked off in Krasnoyarsk. The opening ceremony took place at the Small Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Society.

In a single evening, three talented young soloists—Fengning Guo (China), Alexander Kolesnikov, and Stefaniya Pospekhina—performed alongside one of today’s most renowned violin virtuosos, Honored Artist of Russia Pavel Milyukov.
A real treat for the audience was the appearance of People's Artist of the USSR Viktor Tretyakov and international competition laureate Nataya Likhopoy themselves. They performed the first movement of Bach's Concerto for Two Violins.
Works by Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, and Stravinsky were performed, accompanied by the Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Lande.

The last event of the Festival will take place on October 1. Five additional concerts will be held at three venues across the city. The programme features works by composers from various eras, including Mozart, Prokofiev, and Kabalevsky.
