The second contemporary art festival Pozdeev Fest will take place in Kamenka Park in Krasnoyarsk on August 22 and 23. This large-scale event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Siberian painter Andrei Pozdeev.

The festival will unite visual arts, music scene, educational lectures, theatre and dance performances, an art market, a children's playground, and a contemporary fine art auction.

The Pozdeev Fest music stage will become a magnet for contemporary music lovers. The programme features performances by musicians from across the country, including "Тима ищет свет" (Moscow), "Нееет, ты что" (Makhachkala), "ЛАУД" (Ufa), Good Fellas, and Krasnoyarsk's HIT BAG and "Твоё далеко."

Several venues with related activities will be available to guests. At the "Here You Live" lecture location, art historians, artists, and cultural experts will be giving talks on contemporary art and yourself. The "Masterskaya" studio will host project pitching, dance workshops, and performances by professional artists. The "Theatre People" concert hall will feature performances and plays, a jazz quartet, and the one-man show "Pozdeev" from the "Theater on the Roof." The "Sunflowers" venue will offer the opportunity to participate in master classes. For the youngest guests, there will be areas where children can learn about the work of Andrey Pozdeev and take part in various activities related to fine arts.

The festival will feature a presentation of ten new art objects, created based on sketches by young Siberian artists – winners of the "Self-Portrait" creative competition.

The key special event will be a contemporary art auction at the Ploschad Mira Museum Centre. The public auction will feature 48 works by 33 Siberian artists, including rare paintings by Andrey Pozdeev, courtesy of the artist's foundation.
