From July 6 to July 19 Siberian Federal University six time held Summer University project. This year more than 4000 applications from all over the world were submitted. After selection 430 students from Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Vietnam, Egypt, Israel, India, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Chili, Ecuador and Russia visited Krasnoyarsk. For 2 weeks students created, researched and study to make friends and hear each other.

Within the educational block they studied in 8 programs devoted to management, tourism, metallurgy, philology, digital technologies, mathematics, psychology and pedagogics. 

The Summer university participants took part in extensive cultural programme. During excursions they visited city sites - the Chapel of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa, the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power station, the Manor museum of Vasyli Surikov, the nature reserve «Stolby», the Torgashinsky Ridge, eco-park «Gremyachaya Griva» and others.

The «Summer University» project is implemented at  the base of the Siberian Federal University since 2021. Key goals  are to introduce young people from other countries to educational opportunities in the Krasnoyarsk region and to further attract foreign students in region's universities. The project is implemented annually and attracts hundreds of foreign students all around the world. ​
