​​Documentary "Sky of Irina Markova" dedicated to the Krasnoyarsk-born​ pilot and athlete Irina Markova, will be screened at the 2026 Flightfest International Film Festival.

Taking place 11-13 ​September 2026 in SE Queensland, the Festival invites filmmakers from around the world to share their unique perspectives on flight, exploration, and innovation. The movie submitted by Krasnoyarsk was produced by "Yenisey Kino" and tells the story of Irina Markova,  Master of Sports of the USSR in air sports, multiple medalist and absolute winner of the Russian championship in aerobatic flying. Irina Markova has been flying since 1985.

The plot of the feature is based on Irina's personal life, archival photos and flight footage.
