Krasnoyarsk Region athletes got prizes at the Karate Dream Festival 2026 International Championship, which was held in Tokyo, Japan. The tournament brought together 4057 athletes from 23 countries. Such high participants number was officially entered in the Guinness World Records as new record of participants number among full-contact karate forms.  

Krasnoyarsk athletes were awarded 2 bronze medals. Ramil Aliev took the 3^rd place
in the under-70 kg division. Dmitry Jumygin took the same position in the under-80 kg division. Krasnoyarsk R​egion was represented by 10 athletes from Krasnoyarsk and Kansk; thee of them have already entered Russian national team.

The Karate Dream Festival International Championship is considered as one of the most prestigious tournament in the world. It is held annually in Tokyo and attracts thousands of participants from all over the world. ​​
