​The International Festival of World Music and Crafts "WORLD of Sib​​​​​​​eria" was held in its traditional place of Shushenskoye.

The 22nd celebration of live music and crafts attracted 83,000 people – even more than last year. The Festival participants included ethnic music and dance performers, craftspeople, and entrepreneurs from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Algeria, Armenia, India, China, Kyrgyzstan and France. Russian artisans presented their best handicrafts at the City of Crafts fair. 43 participants from 16 Russian regions took part in the Festival contest.

The Festival programme included over 400 events – concerts and performances of all kinds, workshops, handicrafts exhibitions, family activities etc. For the second time in the history of the event, couples from the Krasnoyarsk Region, the Khakassia Region and the Chelyabinsk Region got married at the Festival.

During the closing ceremony of the 4-day event, the jury announced the winners of the Festival's MIRA-2026 award. The Grand Prix of the ethnomusic award was received by the soloist from Yakutia Tuyara Alekseeva. The small celebratory "WORLD chalice" went to the soloist Agatha Hovalyg. The best handicraft master award went to Marat Damdyn from Kyzyl, who presented Tuvan national instruments. 

In 2026, the Festival was held under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.​
