From June 25^th to July 4^th  the 2026 IBSA  Europe​an Powerlifting & Bench-Press Championship​​ was held in Mersin, Turkey. As the result of the Championship Russian team was awarded 40 medals. 50 athletes from 5 countries took part in the tournament.

Krasnoyarsk athlete Ivan Titov was awarded 2 gold medals. He clinched  the champion title in the under-90 kg category, overcoming 2 Turkish athletes, and in the bench-press discipline.

​Previously, in October 2025,  Ivan Titov became a World champion at the 11th World Para Powerlifting Championships, which was took place in Cairo, Egypt. ​
