13.05.2026The Krasnoyarsk Region is once again hosting the International Film Festival for Children and Youth "GEROY" ("Hero") May 18-22.

In addition to the regional capital, screenings will be held in Norilsk, Uyar, Divnogorsk, and the village of Kuragino. Audiences will see films from Russia, Belarus, Brazil, Hungary, Germany, Greece, China, Italy, and other countries—a total of 109 films.
The main platform and festival venue in Krasnoyarsk is Cinema Park of the newly opened National Centre "RUSSIA".
Directors, actors, screenwriters, and producers from China, Uzbekistan, and various regions of Russia are expected to attend the Festival. Among the honored guests and jury members are festival president and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Grammatikov; jury chairman and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Alenikov; film and voice actress and festival ambassador Vitaliya Kornienko; director, producer, and screenwriter of feature films and documentaries Vladimir Golovnev; creator of popular animated universes Konstantin Feoktistov; cinematographer Yuri Yermolin.
This year's Geroy Festival will feature themed screenings dedicated to the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, and the 90th anniversary of the Soyuzmultfilm studio.
