Among key areas of activity is cooperation with Chinese universities and industry experts.

Russia's first 'Sichuan cuisine centre', which already promises to become a serious platform for professional and cultural exchange, has opened in Krasnoyarsk at the SFU Institute of Gastronomy. Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Yulia Filatova emphasized the significance of such an ambitious development:

— It's important for us that such educational projects not only develop the region but also provide an opportunity for cultural exchange. This mutual enrichment opens up new avenues for both students and the professional industry in general.

Such a Centre brings together international expertise and will be part of the institute's development as a modern educational platform focused on global culinary practices. The first project will be an educational programme featuring faculty from Sichuan Tourism University and chefs with international experience.

Acting Head of Siberian Federal University Maxim Rumyantsev:

— We are seeing how ideas discussed at the conceptual level are becoming implementable projects. Collaboration with Chinese universities and integration with the Asian education market are gradually becoming a reality.

The opening of the centre is the starting point of the Asian culinary art classes at the Institute of Gastronomy.
