The Krasnoyarsk Region became one of the main venues for the first All-Russian Space Week. Thematic events are scheduled until April 12 and are timed to coincide with the 65th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's spaceflight. The Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation is the operator of Space Week in Krasnoyarsk.

The central event in the Krasnoyarsk Region was the Space Forum, attended by representatives of federal and regional governments, the scientific community, leaders of rocket and space industries, educational institutions, university and school students, etc. In addition to the opening plenary session, the Forum programme also included roundtable discussions, a project session, lectures, interactive spaces, and master classes organised by educational institutions of the region.

The National Centre "Russia" opened a large-scale exhibition featuring booths from leading industry companies and higher education institutions. The exhibit offers its visitors to study the design of a standard spacecraft, take a virtual journey through our solar system, or imagine themselves as inventors of a new rocket model. These themed events at the Centre are held daily, including film screenings, discussion panels, master classes, and open lessons. A particularly notable meeting for any Krasnoyarsk citizen is the one with Kirill Peskov, a test cosmonaut from the Yuri Gagarin Research Centre of the Cosmonaut Training Centre and a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Region.

One of the Week's first locations opened was the photo exhibition "The Future Belongs to Those Who Look Up," opened in the city centre. It features rare images of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, and Sergei Korolev, a Soviet scientist and rocket and space systems designer. Archival footage and unique photographs were provided by Roscosmos, the State Archives of the Krasnoyarsk Region, the Zheleznogorsk Museum and Exhibition Complex, and the editorial archives of the state-owned publications "Ogni Yeniseya" (Divnogorsk) and "Sovetskoye Prichulymye" (Nazarovo).
