On April 1st, in Manzhouli, China, the Exemplary Dance Group "Smile" from the Krasnoyarsk Palace of Culture of 1st of May presented a solo programme titled "Us Your Children, Russia!", for students of the Manzhouli Russian Language Vocational College. The concert served as the opening ceremony of a series of college events as part of the Years of Russian-Chinese Cooperation in Education.

The concert was attended by Li Weimin, Party Secretary of the Manzhouli Russian Language Vocational College; Tian Zhenjiang, Deputy Party Secretary and President of the College; and Zhang Zhijie, Party Secretary and Head of the Foreign Affairs Office of Manzhouli Municipality.

The highlight of the event was a joint performance of the much-beloved in China "Katyusha" by Russian and Chinese youth. Their voices in Russian and Chinese merged in a powerful energy burst, and the performers were rewarded with thunderous applause and warm atmosphere.​
