18.02.2026The 44th all-Russian mass ski race "Ski Track of Russia" took place at the Raduga Multifunctional Sports Complex. This year, the event was dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
Both amateurs and professional athletes took part in the mass start. Many came with their entire families, supporting each other on the track.
The competition was held over three distances: 500 m, 1 km, and 7 km.
The winners were awarded trophies and gift certificates from a sporting goods store.
The youngest skiers—200 children aged 4 to 7—successfully completed the 500-meter race around the stadium. Some of them were skiing for the first time. Their parents walked the distance with the children.
The all-Russian 1-kilometer race was the largest in the number of participants. The race brought together both beginners and experienced skiers. Schoolchildren, students, work teams, athletes, and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts — a total of about 1,200 people — took to the track to test their skills.
I'm not a professional, but I participate in the Ski Track of Russia every year – it's a ritual for me. This year, everything worked out: the weather, the overall mood, the people around me. I completed the race with a smile – that's what true sporting spirit means!
Evgeny Krasnov, a 1 km race participant.
The Ski Track of Russia is a popular public event among Krasnoyarsk residents. Whole families take part in the races, introducing the younger generation to a healthy lifestyle. This year, thanks to the clear, sunny weather, all participants easily completed the distances.
