​​​On August 10-11^th the WORLD ROBOT CONTEST CHAMPIONSHIP (WRCC) was held in Beijing (China). It is a professional competition in the field of robotics, that brings together contestants from more than 20 countries. Nowadays World Robot Contest Championship is one of the key tournaments in the fields of artificial intelligence, programming and robotics.

This year 150 teams arrived in Beijing to be participants of the World Robot Contest Championship. Russian teams from different regions also took part in the event. All the participants were middle school students. Russian contestants made to the Top 5 teams of the Championship - two teams from the Moscow Region – Tech Titan and Lo Geeks – took the 4^th and 5^th places. Team LEGACY from the Krasnoyarsk Region took the 2^nd place.

The participants also visited the Russian Cultural Center, located in Beijing.
