The World Youth Festival forum will be held in Krasnoyarsk in 2026. The event will bring together 10,000 young people​​ from Russia and abroad and will be included in the line of key international youth events in the country.

The Forum is a continuation of the World Youth Festival-2024, which took place in the federal territory "Sirius". After a meeting with the participants of the WYF-2024, President Putin ordered that a large festival for 20 thousand participants be held once every six years and once every three years for 10 thousand.

The Krasnoyarsk Region has extensive experience in holding international events for youth. Last year, Krasnoyarsk was the host of the WYF's regional programme, which was attended by guests from 20 countries, members of the regional delegation to the WFY and young activists of the Region. The initiative to host the 2025 Forum was supported by the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Mikhail Kotyukov:

— With the support of the President and Rosmolodezh, the Region will become a platform for strengthening international cooperation in the field of youth policy. This is a unique opportunity for our youth to exchange ideas, experience and create joint projects.

The 1st World Youth Festival ended up bringing together over 20 thousand young leaders in the fields of science, education, politics, international relations, volunteering, sports, entrepreneurship, culture and many others.

The Festival in Sochi was visited by a delegation from Krasnoyarsk – 162 young people with achievements in sports, education, creativity, implementation of public initiatives, etc.
