50 thousand new trees appeared this year in Krasnoyarsk.

Replenishment and maintenance of the greenery of Krasnoyarsk are issues that occupy the first lines in the list of current topics of concern to citizens. In response to a request from Krasnoyarsk residents, the City Administration decided to plant 50 thousand new trees in 2023.

The assignment was dealt with in 4 months. Landscaping expenses were taken not only from the city budget, but also with the help of various organisations, activists and volunteers. Along Energetikov Street, trees were planted by local residents and their children, who decided to do something useful during the school holidays, together with the Mayor. The plan for planting new trees this year will clearly be exceeded.
