20.11.2023On November 4, the "Rossiya" International Exhibition and Forum started at VDNH Exhibition Centre. The Krasnoyarsk Region joined the Forum with all of the other regions of the country to present its latest achievements.

On November 18, the central event of the forum was the presentation of our region, one of the largest subjects of Russia. The presentation of the Krasnoyarsk Region at the international event showed the dynamics of the region's development in recent years, as well as presented the achievements of the region and major projects that are planned for future implementation. At the opening ceremony, the Governor of the Region Mikhail Kotyukov spoke about the economic and tourism potential of Krasnoyarsk, shared the main achievements in recent years and plans for the future:
— The Krasnoyarsk Region is a leader in many economic indicators. Our region has incredible industrial potential. In Krasnoyarsk itself, we are creating a new transport infrastructure that will connect different microdistricts of the city – the long-awaited underground transit system. Our Central Park and the Opera and Ballet Theatre will get a new look. These and many other projects will be completed by the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.
The Krasnoyarsk Region Day opened with a presentation of major sporting events. The Minister of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Region Denis Petrovsky announced a whole sports calendar in 2024, including dates for one of the main events of the winter season in Russia – the II All-Russian Winter Spartakiad.
General Director of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation Sergei Ladyzhenko told the participants about the economic and investment opportunities of the region. He presented the initiatives of the largest industrial companies, which are being implemented within the framework of the Yenisey Siberia integrated investment project, and also presented the business opportunities of the Krasnoyarsk Region in various industries.

Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor of the Region Yulia Filatova spoke about the development of key destinations and the tourism potential of the region. According to her, the growing interest in the region and the emergence of new tourist attractions have created a demand for the development of infrastructure for travelers and attracting investors.
As part of the business programme of the Krasnoyarsk Region Day, experts discussed the creative sector and the development of the film industry in the region. Within the framework of the programme, a variety of movies by Krasnoyarsk directors were screened free of charge for everyone to watch. However, the real highlight of this day was the big three-hour concert of outstanding creative collectives and artists of the region.

Several foreign delegations with representatives of the diplomatic corps and public organizations took part in the events of the Day. Heads of diplomatic missions of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Republic of Cuba, the Republic of El Salvador and the Republic of Namibia, representatives of the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of India, the Republic of Paraguay, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ANO "House of Latin America", the Russian Society for Friendship with Cuba, Association of Russian Diplomats. The representatives were particularly interested in advanced technologies, rich cultural heritage and promising projects for the improvement of Krasnoyarsk presented at the exposition of the Region. In addition, foreign delegations showed interest in participating in the 20th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.

The International Exhibition and Forum continues its work; residents and guests of the capital will be able to visit the exhibitions stands of Russian regions, including the stand of the Krasnoyarsk Region until April 12, 2024.
