The Godenko Krasnoyarsk State Academic Dance Ensemble of Siberia performed on the stage of the Kaiyuan Grand Theatre in Xi'an (Shaanxi Province, Northwestern China) on October 23 and 24. The concerts were a part of the International Arts Festival "Silk Road".

The Festival is taking place for the ninth time. This year it will last until October 29. Performances by artists from more than 90 countries and regions are united by the theme "Better Days for a Better Future."

The Godenko Ensemble presented productions from the group's 'Best Of…' repertoire at the Festival. The audiences enjoyed the famous choreographic suite "My Siberia" by Mikhail Godenko. The concert programme also included the romantic khorovod "At the Well", the Cossack dance "Krasny Yar", the comical dance "In the Poultry Yard" and other dance numbers that rightfully occupy their rightful place in the treasury of world choreography.

— Three years later, the ensemble returned to perform in China. It is a great honor for us to be an ambassador of Russian culture, and a genuine joy to meet our beloved audience again. I am convinced the audience will be able to see and feel true Siberian spirit at our concerts, – said Anastasia Kartseva, director of the Ensemble.
