The final concert of the 21st International Festival of Chamber and Orchestral Music "Asia – Siberia – Europe" took place in the Small Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonia. Krasnoyarsk residents were offered the unique opportunity to listen to such Russian and foreign classical composers of the 20th and 21st centuries, whose works had never been performed before on the stages of the regional centre: Ernest Bloch, German Galynin, Revol Bunin, Yuri Abdokov, etc.

An exclusive programme with the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra was presented by one of the prominent conductors of the young generation, Ivan Nikiforchin. Nikiforchin is the winner of many international awards, founder, artistic director and chief conductor of the famous Moscow ensemble "Academy of Russian Music". Together with the Maestro, a quartet of soloists from the orchestra of the Academy of Russian Music participated in the closing concert:

— It was a fantastic visit to Krasnoyarsk. Five days of rehearsals, concerts and even some tourist excursions. I feel incredibly happy and proud for the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra, with which we immediately developed a mutual understanding. We presented a completely unique set: all the pieces, except one, performed at the concert were Krasnoyarsk premieres, works that had never been heard in your city. My sincerest words of gratitude and admiration to the organisers and founders of the Festival, who have been making it happen for twenty-one years in a row. I hope that our creative cooperation will continue.

The XXI Festival opened on September 3 and lasted 12 days. The Mayor of the city Vladislav Loginov was present at the final concert along with hundreds of music lovers:

— Once again, our beloved city, the Chamber Orchestra and the International Festival "Asia – Siberia – Europe" became the pillars of the musical bridge that connects Asia and Europe! The international event presented listeners with 12 premieres. I thank all the artists, our guests, including those from the Republic of Belarus, everyone who helped organise this musical festival. My special words of gratitude go to Mikhail Benyumov, Larisa Markosyan and the team of the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra, who give our Krasnoyarsk world cultural recognition.

In addition to the Regional centre, concerts took place in Sosnovoborsk and Zheleznogorsk. This year the Festival set a record not only for premieres: tickets for all events in Krasnoyarsk were completely sold out in all venues too.
