Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Vladislav Loginov met with the Krasnoyarsk winners of the 5th ALBA Games in Venezuela and the European Championships in Yerevan to congratulate them on the great results and to wish them and the coaches more success in future endeavors. 

Alexei Skomorokha, a member of the Russian and Krasnoyarsk Regional national teams, won gold in boxing competitions in the weight class up to 71 kg.

Elizaveta Zhatkina won medals in weightlifting in the weight class up to 49 kg. The athlete won silver in the jerk category (97 kg) and in the overall standings, as well as gold in the snatch (77 kg).

Sofia Okhotnikova won a gold medal in her weight category (81 kg) at the European Boxing Championship in Yerevan.

The ALBA Games are a multi-sport event organized by the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas (ALBA). The games are held once every two years.​
