The most exciting Russian and foreign-created animation of the last two years will be shown at the Big Cartoon Festival of 2023, and for the Krasnoyarsk Region specifically, we can expect some of the best locally created animations for children.

The Festival screenings will start March 24. The free screenings programme will be available in Yeniseisk, Lesosibirsk, Kansk, Uzhur, Minusinsk, Achinsk cities, Nizhny Ingash, Ilansky, Shushenskoye, Wagino, Aban, Solontsy villages etc.

From March 31 to April 2, the Festival will be showing animation at the main venue – the Krasnoyarsk Film House. There will be five programmes for five different age groups. The collections include laureates of various festivals and works by young directors and animators.

— We decided that in Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Region, where we always arranged festival screenings, we should hold the small version of the BCF, the cream of the crop of competition programmes, which will include winners of international and national competitions and the best children animations, – said Dina Goder, programme director of the Festival.
