On May 20, Krasnoyarsk will host the Grand Finale of the eSports multiathlon, organised by the Youth IT Centre and the Youth Understudies Government of Krasnoyarsk Region.

eSports multiathlon is basically a competition in which teams participate in both traditional sports and eSports disciplines. The games vary. For each stage, teams receive points, which are then summed up. The teams with the most points advance to the finale, where the winner is determined.

— We organised a lot of eSports tournaments, but my team and I wanted to do something unusual. This is how the multiathlon format appeared. We combined classic sports with esports disciplines and held our very first event in 2018. It immediately attracted the attention of the participants, and this format to this day remains popular among young people, — said Dmitry Hd, head of the information technology department of the Youth IT Centre.

In addition to the final matches, the tournament will include mini-competitions in Mortal Kombat, FIFA and UFC, as well as Beat Saber VR.
