The XXXIII United World Wrestling rankings freestyle wrestling international tournament is being held in Krasnoyarsk from January 27 to 30. The first fights are scheduled for January 27. The opening ceremony of the competition will take place on January 28.

More than 300 people from 13 countries came to the city to participate in the tournament. Athletes will compete for awards in ten weight categories.

Freestyle wrestling is signature for the Region. It is here that we have one of the best wrestling academies not only in Russia, but also in the world, in which the legendary coach of the 20th century, the mentor of the incomparable Ivan Yarygin, Dmitri Georgievich Mindiashvili, worked. By tradition, the tournament gathers the strongest athletes of the world and Europe, as well as wrestlers starting their journey on the international arena, in Krasnoyarsk.
