I will continue to train and practice in the races to do my best at the Olympics.»

Martin Nörl also commented on his performance: «Feels great! First place two days in a row is amazing! I can definitely say that my incredibly fast board, which practically flew, and a little luck helped me to achieve the victory. I was lucky to have such a position that I could overtake my opponents. It is difficult to say whether I will win in China, because there will be a completely different track. Of course, I will return to Krasnoyarsk. The organization of the competition here is just amazing!»

Daniil Donskikh has the best result among Russian snowboarders. In the final ranking of the V stage of the World Cup in snowboard-cross, he came 7th.

The performance of Russian athletes was assessed by the President of the Russian Snowboard Federation Denis Tikhomirov:

— The performance of our team was at a good level, given that this is an international league. The results of these stages showed that we are competitive, we can fight, and that we need to work more. The team is strong, all athletes are different. Ahead is preparation for the Olympic Games.

The organization of the event itself was also appreciated by representatives of the International Ski Federation (FIS), in particular, Snowboard-Cross Race Director Uwe Beyer.

— We are very impressed with the organization of the competition in Krasnoyarsk. I also heard from many athletes and other representatives of sports delegations words of gratitude to the organizers. They will be glad to come back here again. I can say that the competition in Krasnoyarsk was the most important stage, like a dress rehearsal before the Olympics for almost all the participating teams. It was a chance to show how truly in shape the athletes are.

Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Corporation for the Development of Yenisey Siberia, also said that the high level of such large-scale events became possible thanks to the joint work of a large team of organizers: FIS, the Snowboard Federation of Russia, the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Region, Siberian Federal University, and the Development Corporation of Yenisey Siberia.
