Museums today possess only one third of Ryauzov's works, as more than 700 paintings are in private collections around the world. However, now you can see them at four exhibitions in Krasnoyarsk museums. The artist did not move to our city before 1941, but Krasnoyarsk became his second homeland, and the nature of the Region – the basis of his landscape paintings.

«We all have a lot to learn from Boris Yakovlevich. First of all, to love the places we reside in, to feel our involvement in the beauty surrounding us. I would like to wish every single one of us also to be inspired by our native places the way he did,» — said the Krasnoyarsk Region Minister of Culture Arkady Zinov.

Ryauzov's landscapes are a reflection of his view of the world and deep philosophical thoughts. Due to him using a very unique combination of colours, the landscapes look unreal. There are no garish emotions in the paintings, only the reflection – that is the Boris Ryauzov flavour at its best.
