Mayor of Krasnoyarsk, Pyotr Pimashkov, became winner of the Peter the Great National Public Prize
The Peter the Great National Public Prize was established by the “Best Managers” Foundation as the supreme public award of the Russian Federation for personal contribution to development of theory and practice of management in the economic and social sphere of an enterprise, region and the state.
The premium is annually awarded in various nominations to the best experts in theory of management, to heads of enterprises and state managers by decision of the Russian public commission.
The prize for the best state manager in a nomination "For an effective management and best achievements in social and economic development of a city" has been awarded to the Mayor of our city. In total, 65 heads of municipalities were submitted in this nomination. Among heads of large cities, only Pyotr Pimashkov received this Prize.
As a public award, the prize has no expression in money. Laureates are awarded with a bronze figurine of Peter the Great - Emperor of Russia, a diploma and medal with the image of Peter the Great and legend "National Prize Laureate".
The “Best Managers” Foundation has also established the Peter the Great Public Order.
The Peter the Great Public Order is a supreme public award of the Russian Federation, presented for outstanding services to the Motherland, promoting prosperity, greatness and the glory of Russia.
In 2002, 112 subjects and 50 persons took part in the competition for the Order. By decision of the Russian public commission, the Peter the Great Order was awarded to the city of Krasnoyarsk. The order, a four-beam star with a profile-view Peter the Great, made of silver and gold with the use of precious and semi-precious stones, was presented to the Mayor of Krasnoyarsk, Pyotr Pimashkov in Moscow.
