"Creator of the Year" competition

Pyotr Pimashkov, Mayor of Krasnoyarsk, became winner of the All-Russian "Creator of the Year" competition.

The "Creator of the Year" Competition is annually held by the Government of the Russian Federation, the committee of Gosstroy of Russia and Stroitelnaya newspaper. The competition is carried out in 10 nominations.

Pyotr Pimashkov, the Mayor of Krasnoyarsk, was announced the winner among the mayors of Russian cities.

On September 7, 2001 at a ceremonial meeting devoted to the 373rd anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, the federal inspector in Krasnoyarsk Territory, Nikolay Khudykh, on behalf of the Russian Government, awarded Pyotr Pimashkov with the "Grand Prize" diploma and "Golden Triumphal Arch" prize.
