The representatives of the third largest city of the Kyrgyz Republic spent several days studying the delicate issue of heating and water supply, as well as general city improvement issues. The guests were particularly interested in the work of the intelligent transport system of Krasnoyarsk, which in real time automatically regulates the operation of traffic lights in the event of traffic jam.

The guests also visited School of general education No. 16, where they were introduced to the local special educational programme for teaching foreign children and discussed the potential for cooperation between schools in the two cities. The director of the educational institution, Lyudmila Zharich, told the guests about the educational process.

— Since 2007, our school has been operating the only Centre for Additional Education in the region on the adaptation of migrant children. It hosts various events aimed at teaching our students to respect each other's traditions and be more tolerant to cultures distinct from their own. Foreign-language children are quite diligent in their studies.

The head of the delegation thanked his Krasnoyarsk colleague for the hospitality and readiness to further the new interaction:

— Thank you for the warm welcome and unforgettable memories from Krasnoyarsk! We were amazed by the beauty of your city and the hospitality of its inhabitants. Unfortunately, in such a short time we were not able to learn and see everything we wanted, but we are confident that our next visit in July will allow us to make more discoveries. We will share our impressions with colleagues and will definitely come back again!

The leadership of the Krasnoyarsk local public organization "Kyrgyz National and Cultural Autonomy" has repeatedly taken the initiative to develop economic and socio-cultural interaction, strengthen cooperation, as well as give the already established sister-city relations between the municipalities of Russia and the Kyrgyz Republic an official status. Members of the public organization and personally the chairwoman of the organization Nazgul Bataeva enthusiastically participated in organizing and conducting the visit of the delegation from Jalal-Abad.
