On April 10, 2024, Mayor Vladislav Loginov and the Head of the Office of Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation in Krasnoyarsk Azamat Kabaev discussed issues of intermunicipal cooperation during a working meeting taking place in the Krasnoyarsk City Administration. This was the first official meeting after the appointment of Azamat Kabaev as the new Head of the Office back in November 2023.

Heads of Departments of the Krasnoyarsk City Administration, as well as the Chairwoman of the Krasnoyarsk local Kyrgyz National Autonomy Nazgul Bataeva took part in the discussion of the prospects for the development of cooperation between the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Region and the municipalities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Opening the meeting, the Mayor noted that recently the relationship between Krasnoyarsk and the municipalities of the Kyrgyz Republic in such areas as culture, education, sports, and economics had reached a new level and congratulated the guests on the main holiday for the Muslim people Eid al-Adha.

— I feel great warmth toward the Kyrgyz Republic. We truly have developed special relations that have stood the test of time. The closest example is our interaction with residents of the city of Jalal-Abad, with which Krasnoyarsk is connected by a Sister City Memorandum. We are always open to dialogue and future cooperation.

In turn, the Head of the Office of Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation in Krasnoyarsk thanked Vladislav Loginov and everyone who took part in organizing a large-scale international event in the world of technical creativity, the National Robotics Championship "Krasnoyarsk 5.0", for the warm welcome of the team of young roboticists from Bishkek.

— Our peoples are historically very closely connected; for more than 300 years we have lived in the spirit of alliance and brotherhood. Interaction at the level of state leaders, governments, ordinary residents of cities and villages is strengthening. Currently, preparations are being made for the construction of new Russian schools in the Republic, each for more than a thousand students. And one of them will be in the sister city of Jalal-Abad.

Continuing the event, the meeting participants discussed the upcoming visit to Krasnoyarsk of the delegation of the Jalal-Abad mayor's office, the hosting of the XI Russian-Kyrgyz interregional conference in Krasnoyarsk and other topical issues.
