The 2024 Big Cartoon Festival will take place at the end of March, according to the official representatives of the event, starting with free screenings of modern animated movies in villages and towns of the Krasnoyarsk Region. The showings will begin on March 22 and last six days, as the official organizers reported.

From March 29 to 31, the Festival will present programmes at the Krasnoyarsk Cinema House. Residents of the regional centre will be able to enjoy the premiere of a full-length feature The Inventor (2023; France, Ireland, USA) and watch five collections of Russian and foreign animation, designed for different age audiences. The collections include works by young directors and winners of various animation festivals.
