Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale is a unique art festival in a museum context, one of the largest Russian international contemporary art projects. Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale, founded in 1995 and organized by the Museum Centre «Ploschad Mira», is the first biennale in Russia. The Biennale has been displaying contemporary art from all over the world to residents of Krasnoyarsk and Siberia for more than 20 years and has become a well-known territory brand.

Each Biennale includes several programs: expositional, public art, museum, communicational, educational as well as special projects. Both Russian and foreign artists take part in the event.
