Ksenia Savchenko wins silver at Youth Archery Europe Cup

Representative of the Krasnoyarsk sports club Yenisei Arrows Ksenia Savchenko became the silver medalist of the Europe Cup in the team competitions. The Krasnoyarsk athlete climbed to the second step of the podium together with Sergei Shenkhorov from Buryatia. The Europe Cup is being held in the Slovenian town of Catezh.

Alexei Nurkenov gets silver at European Para-Karate Championships

Krasnoyarsk athlete Alexei Nurkenov won silver medal at the 2021 European Para-Karate Championships held in Porec, Croatia. The athlete became the silver medalist in the kata discipline. The gold of the tournament was won by the participant from Romania Alex Dorin, the bronze was awarded to the Azerbaijani Sahib Akhadov and the Russian Valery Trofimov.

Elizaveta Zhatkina takes two bronze medals at World Junior Championships 

The World Junior Weightlifting Championships held in Uzbekistan was attended by 244 athletes from 53 countries. The Krasnoyarsk sportswoman Elizaveta Zhatkina entered the fight on the very first day of the competition. Elizaveta won two bronze medals: in the second exercise and also based on the sum of the clean and jerk results.
