The youth centre Novye Imena summed up the results of the «Krasnoyarsk. Chronicles of the Victory 1941-1945». This is an annual festival held by the Main Department of Education in conjunction with Krasnoyarsk Pedagogical University and the Krasnoyarsk Information and Methodological Centre. This year the festival took place online. 7 combined teams of high school students from all districts of the city were working on research papers and even making their own movies! 

Among the experts who evaluated the works of the children in the finals were the author of documentaries and journalist Andrei Grishakov, director of the Victory Memorial Museum Tatyana Ivleva, chief specialist of the Department of Education Ilya Dozortsev and chairman of the expert council, associate professor of the department of national history at KrasPU Lyudmila Mezit.

Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Sergei Eremin addressed the participants of the project: «I am sincerely glad that after 9th of May we continue the marathon of events in honor of the Great Victory. You lads have done a great job, and the result is unique projects. You successfully attempted to submerge deeply into the realities of war, to touch the destinies of the legendary generation of Krasnoyarsk residents. I am sure that you have applied not only your mind, but also your heart to this! And believe me, this is what's most important.»

«The kids determined the genre of their works themselves, be it a video clip, a documentary movie, or an art production. As a result, we were very fortunate to watch the very essences of high school students' thoughts about the most tragic and at the same time such a great period in our history. The project is interesting in that it united the educational and creative abilities of schoolchildren. As a result, we have seven absolutely unique works that history teachers can demonstrate in class,», – said Tatyana Sitdikova, Head of the Main Department of Education.
