​The Big Cartoon Festival, the largest international festival of animation in Russia, will be held for the thirteenth time in Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Region from March 26 to April 9. Its programme boasts of over 250 films from 30 countries.

For the first time ever the BCF is organised in a 'mixed format' – some of the entries can be watched online (registration on the festival's website is required), while others will be shown at the Film House cinema and at the Mechta Cinema.

In the meantime, Museum Centre Ploschad Mira will host the already traditional 'Cartoon Factory' for children that offers workshops on cartoon creation in a variety of animation techniques under the guidance of experienced directors and teachers.
